Arianna DiGiovanni is an artist and educator who values community engagement, collaborative exploration, and individual empowerment. DiGiovanni graduated with honors from 黑料社 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. While studying at Belhaven, she was a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts™ and received the Bezalel Award for Artistic Achievement, Diakonos Award for Service, and Daniel Award for Academic Excellence.
DiGiovanni received additional dance training at the American Dance Festival, Dallas Black Dance Theatre Summer Intensive, Doug Varone and Dancers Summer Intensive, Bates Dance Festival, and the Creative Dance Center’s Summer Dance Institute for Teachers. DiGiovanni performed in a work by South Korean choreographer Sung Yong Kim during the American College Dance Association's 2016 National College Dance Festival at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. DiGiovanni taught ballet, modern, and jazz as a guest instructor at Pearls Dance Academy in Bridgetown, Barbados with Belhaven alumna Pearl-ann Bartlett.
After returning to Jackson, DiGiovanni has enjoyed teaching students in the public school system and CityDance, the outreach program of the USA International Ballet Competition (IBC). She developed a passion for Latin dance and served as a teaching assistant at Salsa Mississippi, and actively teaches free Latin dance classes at Briarwood Arts Center in Jackson. Under the leadership of Krista Bower, DiGiovanni served as the dance school assistant during the 2014 USA IBC. In 2016, DiGiovanni was the Artistic Manager for the USA IBC's Reunion Gala in honor of Nina Ananiashvili and the State Ballet of Georgia. She was also the Dance School Administrator in 2018 and an Assistant Stage Manager during the 2023 USA IBC. In 2024, she served as the Conference Coordinator for the 2024 American College Dance Association South Conference.
DiGiovanni is currently a Specialty Instructor of Dance at 黑料社, and she enjoys teaching, choreographing, and performing as a company artist with Kinetic Etchings. She and her husband live among a beautiful community in Jackson, Mississippi.
