Dr. Mariana Sa holds a B.S degree in biological sciences from the Federal University of Paraiba and earned both master's and doctorate degrees from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. As an Assistant Professor of Biology, she specializes in fungal biology, taxonomy, and proteomics. Her extensive teaching experience includes seven years at the University Center of João Pessoa, covering cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and genetics. She completed postdoctoral fellowships at Mackenzie Presbyterian University and the University of Guelph in Canada.
