At 黑料社, your audition is the beginning of your connection to a vibrant, Christ-centered community of dance artists and scholars. Whether you're pursuing a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance or a dance minor, you'll audition in our beautiful Bitsy Irby Visual Arts and Dance Center. We welcome dancers who desire to pursue excellence in their technique and are ready to grow artistically and spiritually.

What to Expect
Apply to the University and Submit the Audition Registration Form
The application process for 黑料社 and the dance program are two separate items.
Audition Attire
Part of a successful audition is how you prepare.
Men should wear:
- Tight-fitting t-shirt
- Black tights
- Athletic pants or shorts can be worn over ballet tights for the contemporary dance portion
- Ballet slippers for the ballet portion
Women should wear:
- Solid-colored leotard
- Pink or skin-toned tights
- Leggings or cropped pants can be worn over ballet tights for the contemporary dance portion
- Secured hair
- Ballet slippers for the ballet portion; pointe shoes are optional

In-person dance auditions are preferred, but we understand that it may not be possible for you. We’ll accept a video audition if you're unable to travel to Jackson for auditions.
