Three ghostly brides gather evidence against their womanizing, murderous, husband by reliving the shocking events leading up to their deaths. The Drowning Girls recounts the story of Bessie, Alice and Margaret, three of the many wives of George Joseph Smith, an Edwardian opportunist who made a living marrying women, taking out life insurance policies for them and subsequently drowning them in their bathtubs. Full of rich images, myriad characters, a quirky sense of humor and lyrical language, The Drowning Girls is both breathtaking fantasia and social critique.

Project Dance Festival
An all-day open air dance concert that is free to the public featuring local and national dance artistry in ballet, jazz, modern dance, hip hop and tap. Dancers gather with a common vision: to bring hope and healing through the universal language of dance.

Now one of the most performed shows in America, Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! The musical lovingly brings to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Seussical is fun for the whole family!

The word anaphora is Greek and means "offering up" or "carrying up," signifying the presentation of gifts to God—particularly in the context of worship. In this concert, Anaphora becomes more than a title; it is the guiding spirit of the evening. As we lift our voices in sacred choral music, we also lift our hearts, prayers, and praise.
Fall Dance Concert: featuring MFA Thesis Choreography
A showcase of choreography by dance faculty and guest artists, presented by the 黑料社 Dance Ensemble and members of DOXA. Styles include classical and contemporary ballet and modern dance. This concert also features an MFA Thesis Project.

This fall’s program features Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, "From the New World", a piece full of sweeping melodies and rich emotion, blending the composer’s Czech heritage with inspiration from his time in America. The 93rd Annual Singing Christmas Tree

A beloved Jackson tradition returns! Join us for the 黑料社 Singing Christmas Tree, the oldest outdoor singing Christmas tree tradition in America. A 19-year-old man has just stood trial for the fatal stabbing of his father. As the 12 jurors are taken into the bleak jury room, it looks like an open-and-shut case—until one of the jurors begins opening the others' eyes to the facts. With each juror revealing his or her own character as the various testimonies are examined, the murder is re-enacted. Tempers get short, arguments grow heated, and the characters become 12 angry jurors. The jurors' final verdict and how they reach it add up to one of the most memorable pieces of American dramatic literature.

Experience The New Creation, a concert of sacred music presenting excerpts from The Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom by contemporary composer Kurt Sander. Composed in the Church Slavonic tradition, this work stands as a living expression of liturgical art—not merely preserving the past, but actively participating in the mystery of the Kingdom of God breaking into the present. Rooted in the Church’s ancient worship, Sander’s music engages the heart, mind, and body of the believer, becoming a vessel that reveals and points to the Church’s incarnational vision— proclaiming, in the words of the prophet Isaiah, “God is with us.”
