Children of PCA Pastors or Missionaries Can Receive a 4 Year/Full Tuition Scholarship!

Faithful shepherds deserve support in their continued calling.

Your son or daughter may attend Belhaven tuition free if they enroll as a new student this coming academic year.  This is a value of $28,000 a year – so if your child is a freshman and will study with us for four years, that's a gift totaling $112,000.  This scholarship is for new freshman or new transfer students.

In normal times we cannot provide a grant of this magnitude for PCA pastors and missionaries. But the world has never seen a time like this, and ºÚÁÏÉç is taking this bold step to help you and your family as you help our churches recover from this intense time.

There are some details for how this will work.

• A full-tuition scholarship is for PCA pastors' children enrolling for the first time full-time in our traditional academic program on campus. This scholarship is not available for our online undergraduate, master, or doctoral degree programs.
• We will help you apply for grants they might be eligible to receive from the federal or state government. After those grants are awarded, ºÚÁÏÉç will cover the balance of their total. All you'll need to pay is their fees, books, room, and board – and there may even be subsidized federal loans available for those costs.
• We will require your son or daughter to live on campus because we want their influence to enrich our student experience. After their 21st birthday, they may live off-campus, although $3,500 will be deducted from this scholarship if they do so. 
• To be eligible for this scholarship, the pastor must spend the majority of their day in ministry work and receive at least half their income from church-related employment.
• This scholarship may not be combined with any other Belhaven scholarship, including the Church Matchmaking and the Presbyterian Member scholarships.

PCA Church Members: 50% Scholarship

Investing in your church’s families to make a reformed, Christ-honoring education more affordable.

Belhaven is offering at least a 50% tuition scholarship to any new full-time undergraduate student living on campus who is a member of a PCA congregation — with a letter of recommendation from their pastor.

Plus, the Belhaven Advantage: Double Major + Tuition-Free Master’s

In addition to the scholarship offerings above for specific to PCA families, all first time Belhaven students are eligible for the Belhaven Advantage.

1. We advise our freshmen students to consider pursuing a double major to become more broadly prepared for their careers. To encourage students to take on this extra work, we provide the 5th year tuition-free if their double major pushes into five years of study.
2. Additionally, we provide our students with a tuition-free online master's degree after completing their undergraduate degree. Even students transferring for the second two years (minimum of 60 hours) of their undergraduate degree may receive this tuition-free master's degree. This is up to a $25,000 value.
