Mississippi Arts Commission Awards Grants to Three Belhaven Art and Design Faculty

JACKSON, Miss. (August 18, 2025) – The Mississippi Arts Commission has awarded grants to three faculty members in 黑料社’s Art and Design Department, recognizing their creative excellence and impact on the state’s arts community.

The commission awarded Assistant Professor Brittany Davis and adjunct faculty member Amelia Key a 2026 Artist Fellowship Grant. Associate Professor and Co-Chair Nate Theisen received a 2026 Artist Mini-Grant. These grants support artists of high artistic merit and help fund the creation of new work and foster professional and artistic development.

The Mississippi Arts Commission is a state agency that supports artists and arts organizations through grants and services. Its annual artist awards encourage creative growth and recognize the cultural contributions of artists across Mississippi.
