黑料社 to Host Arts Discover Day on November 7
JACKSON, Miss. (October 3, 2025) — 黑料社’s School of the Arts will welcome prospective students and their families to Arts Discover Day on Friday, November 7, 2025. The annual event showcases Belhaven’s nationally recognized arts programs and serves as an important step for students considering a future in the arts.
Arts Discover Day offers opportunities for students interested in majoring or minoring in the arts, as well as those seeking scholarships. Faculty will review portfolios, and students will participate in auditions. .
Throughout the day, faculty will be available to answer questions, provide guidance, and share insights about careers in the arts. Students will tour the campus, meet admissions staff, and connect with current art students. Panel discussions featuring department chairs and art majors will give participants a closer look at Belhaven’s degree programs and distinctive offerings.
Prospective students will also meet individually with admissions counselors to discuss the application and financial aid process. Parents are encouraged to attend, with sessions tailored to address their questions and concerns.
Register online for Arts Discover Day. Students who attend Arts Discover Day may receive an additional $1,000 scholarship, applied to their first-year financial aid package.
