Enrolling in the Online AI Program: What You Need to Know
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
- Foundational competency in Python programming is also required for admission. This competency may be demonstrated through one or more of the following: completion of college-level coursework, industry-recognized online certifications, coding bootcamp transcripts, relevant professional experience, or submission of a portfolio (e.g., GitHub) containing Python-based projects. Applicants without sufficient evidence of Python proficiency will be required to take MDS 600 – Introduction to Data Science as a prerequisite or co-requisite during their first term.
- Applicants with a GPA below 2.8 may be considered for conditional admission based on additional evidence of academic or professional readiness.
Applying to Belhaven’s online programs is quick and easy. We’ll need a couple of supporting documents — things like transcripts from any other school you’ve attended. When you have gathered those, just complete our online application form.
